Can someone tell me how I can start  Write.exe, and make it create a new file
for me!? For instans, can I start Write with the filename test.wri (test.wri
being a file that does not exist prior to executing Write)? This should be
possible, any help appreciated!

Try Dave Taylor's excellent component TExec. It's fantastic. If your a VB
programmer, it's like Shell() on steroids !! :)
