Dear colleagues,
I am developing a custom convertor that implements OEM->ANSI conversion from
MS-DOS Word 3.0-5.0 *.doc files to Word 6.0-7.0 for Windows. It is a fact that
the original Word convertor does no ANSI->OEM conversion and thus you get much
trouble here, in Bulgaria :-').

Unfortunately, I have no idea about the file format of the Word 5.0 docs.

I would be very grateful to you if you can send me some information about it
as well as ideas and/or source codes.

Any of those will be highly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Has anybody noticed that everything coming from...

Organization:
U.S. Army Research Lab (ARL), APG, MD

is written in the most indecipherable english.  I can never seem to
figure out what is being asked.

Look at the IP/email addresses.  .ru is Russia, for instance.  And
I've seen .no, .se, .uk (where no one speaks English), .pe, .am, .br,
etc...  I like it.  Join a listserv/news group and meet the world!
