I think you meant:
Read cache is good.
Write cache *with* battery backup module and OS disk caching set to
"write-back" is very good.
Write cache *with* battery backup module is good.
Write cache *without* battery backup module is very bad.

Or, write caching in any environment where any failure can leave writes
in the cache is bad. All other caching is good.<g>
