InterBase 7.5 Connections from Visual C# 2005

Looking to connect to InterBase 7.5 from Visual C# 2005. Any suggestions about what we could/should use?
OLEDB driver : www.ibprovider.com/eng/index.html but I guess this will potentially be slower than some other options.
Will anything support IBEvents?

I'm not sure that will be a huge factor. You should be able to do

fairly well with this, if you design your app right.
