Just a quick Q. I am using Delphi 5 Enterprise. How does one connect to an Informix server, running on HP/UX 10, using SQL Links? I have connected to Oracle before, but never using SQL Links. I have used DOAD and other 3rd party packages. If anyone can point me to some such package for Informix I would be grateful. Thanx.

1. Install the Infomix-Cli in the client machine.
2. Configure the Informix-Cli using the SetNet Informix utility.
3. Add the Informix connection service to the services file on the client machine.
4. Add the Informix\bin directory to Windows search path
5. Test the connection with the Informix ILogin utility
6. Configure the BDE for use the native Informix driver.
7. Test the connection
8. I think that's all.
