I have an application running on WinNT 4.0 without BDE problems, I try to
execute it in a Win 2000 but I got the ORA-01041 Error: Hosdef extension
doesn't exists

Can anyone help me,

suspiciously like you do not have your TNSNAMES.ORA mapping for the server
configured properly for connecting to that database. Are you sure that the
Oracle client is properly installed and can connect to the database using
SQL*Plus?
