Opus DirectAccess + Delphi 3

Has anybody tried using Opus DirectAccess 1.1 (or a newer beta) with Delphi
3? Does it work?

Does that make sense, as access to Jet Engine is built into Delphi 3?

Re:Opus DirectAccess + Delphi 3

There's a beta of DirectAccess for Delphi3. It supports JET3.5 and is
significantly faster than Borland's effort. Note BDE requires DAO to be
installed and DOES NOT support JET 3.5.

Re:Opus DirectAccess + Delphi 3

Yes it makes sense:
Opus supports DAO3.5, protected MDBs plus the full DAO object
hierarchy as Delphi Objects.
BTW someone here on the net mentioned Opus to be 2-3 times faster than
the native bde access driver !
