Sending control codes to an LPT or COM port

Hi all,

I am writing a program that requires printing to a Star TSP242 thermal
printer. ATM I am using the Win2k printer drivers (Star TSP242 (full cut))
and the printer is printing out what I want (text + graphics) but the paper
size is set to 254mm long. So, whenever the job finishes it spits out a heap
of paper as it has to get to the end of the 'page'. I want to send a control
command to cut straight away (I have the control codes) but here is the
qu... Can I send control codes straight to the printer using the printer
drivers? If not, how can stop the paper feeding to the end of the page? I
have searched through the manuals with no luck. :(

If that fails, and I cannot use the printer drivers, how do I send data
straight to a port in Delphi/Pascal?

Any help would be great.

Thanks,
Andrew
