I know it is been mentioned before, but what I would really like now would
be for the manuals to be made available in printed form via lulu.com

pdfs are great, but for us oldies nothing beats printed docs that you
can easily read anywhere.
Well, it is about 18,000 pages, (9,000 double sided). that is a bit big
to print. ;-)
We are continuing to press towards a lulu.com like solution.

We are continuing to press towards a lulu.com like solution.

Should I have assumed that the correct response was to replace duplicate
named HTML files when unzipping?
Also, is there really a difference in the interface to Interbase 2007
between the professional and enterprise editions as indicated in the
modified Feature Matrix for Delphi 2007?
Best wishes,
Bob

Re: For Folks that Wanted Help

There are utilities (ie: pdf Split-Merge) that allow to merge to finished
PDF.
We used to join PDF's generated with ORCAD, Word, Corel and other different
applications.

I /think/ we tried that, and it blew out the PDF writer.

Re: For Folks that Wanted Help

Thanks for that Nick.
I know 18,000 pages (or 9,000 d/s) is a lot.
However, I for one purchased the complete M$ .NET 1.1 framework printed
documentation, which required re-enforcing my bookshelves ! (Unfortunately,
I then decided that .NET wasn't for me !!).
Provided that Codegear was to split up the documentation into 'sensible'
volumes, I for one would quite happily purchase from Lulu or similar.

Each file should be unzipped into a separate directory.

Professional editions don't allow for remote connections.

That is the eventual plan.

Smaller font to the rescue? <G>
I am one of those that prefers paper as well, but that and jokes aside, good

Ditto.
I would really like to be able to sit out on the back patio with the
manuals. can not do that with the electronic versions.

Each file should be unzipped into a separate directory.
That's where the duplicates show up using XP's extract all.

Ah, so the key isn't Unicode but remote. Shouldn't that depend on the
Interbase license one buys?
Best wishes,

Some nice doc in PDF and HTML on CodeCentral.

Working fine now. Weird...
Not so weird. CodeCentral currently has issues with hosting larger
downloads (John discussed this in more depth here recently). This will
generally surface as the error message you experienced and the Out of
Memory error that others are reporting here.
Please be reassured by the fact that a more scalable solution is
currently under development.
