Generating xml DIRECTLY from IB

Hi,
does anybody know any UDF function that can convert data to the XML stream?
Or maybe a set of functions, which I can use to parse data to XML and then
return it in a store procedure?

ps. I want to do it in SQL, I am not interested in any Delphi components
etc.
