Hello,
I've downloaded Castalia for BDS and I have noticed several menu
items saying "Full edition only".
Does this imply it is not a full edition?
TIA,
Andrew

Delphi Developers have a secure area to download from - presumably you
have downloaded the trial which is limited functionality. The site
doesn't mention that the trial is fully functional (although it also
doesn't mention that is its limited!)

Nope, I haven't downloaded the trial. To know what I am talking about:

In any case, the trial should be fully functional, so I expect the free
version is limited.
You should ask Jacob Thurman on his Castalia newsgroup, or by email.
IIRC, he's getting married or just got married around now (he had a sale on
the product to raise money for this event), so he's probably on his
honeymoon. I would lob off an email, but don't expect a quick reply.

As Nick said: "[...] They don't have all features of the full version."

Actually, the wedding is November 4, and I am still here working as usual.
The download in question is a promotional deal with Borland for BDS2006
owners, and it is got a small subset of Castalia features. it is not time
limited or a demo, it just doesn't have all all of the features of the full
for-sale version.

Re:Castalia For BDS: Not a "full edition"?

It says right within the quote halfway down the page you gave the link
to that it does not include all the features of the full version! You
cannot expect to get for free what we have paid for! <g>
