whenever i opened a stored procedure in IB expert (ver 5.0), it displayed
below message then cause me cannot do any amendment....
'Unsuccessful execution caused by a system error that precludes
successful execution of subsequent statements.
internal gds software consistency check (can't continue after bugcheck).'
what is the message's meaning...what can i do to recovered this error...

Is that the entire error message? It sounds like your database is
corrupt. Have you tried repairing it with gfix?
