I've been trying to learn Adonis.
I'm getting there, but it is slow... very ... ve-ry ... s-l-o-w...
I'm new to ADO and there is no Adonis tutorial.
I'm looking at Deer-Soft. it is free so probably there
won't be much help there either.
I've heard that Borland has an add-on component for
Delphi 5 Professional... Does anyone know if that is true?
So basically, I need advice... or direction.
Stick with Adonis and grudge it out... ?
Jump to Deer-Soft... ?
Thanks, Craig.

There was an Add on ADO components package
when Borland was selling Delphi 5 but it has not been
available since Delphi 6 came on the market.
Thanks. Actually that is a big help.
Ruling out the wrong path early is very important
when time is a consideration.
I'm giving Diamond ADO a try now.
Hope I can make it work.
Craig.

For general advice on ADO, check out the Microsoft MSDN site - there's a huge amount of useful information there for you.
