Fred Ball, if he's interested. Probably isn't.

Actually, you would be on the top of my list.
Like you, I believe that grabbing a few % of the disgruntled VB6 guys is the
quickest way to raise the visibility of Delphi2005. Perhaps the new big
cheese will have an ear for the DOCB.

But... but...
viruses usually hook up into many system stuff, and they seriously
degrade performance, and -

I actually think Nick would be a great candidate. He certainly has the
level of passion for Delphi that I would like to see in a Borland CEO.
And while I have never met him in person, from what I have seen of his
online persona he seems to have many of the key attributes I would expect
in a CEO. He strikes me as an intelligent individual who demonstrates
an excellent capability to think outside the square, and is not afraid
to challenge the way things are currently done.

No no, that is B.B.King's guitar.
I guess you are not familair with Lucille Ball, AKA Lucy.

Hmm... that sounds like a challenge! ;-)
My current personal programming project has been keeping me busy and
distracting me from non-tech. And because of the technologies being
used, it has me lurking in the ECO ng more. In fact its now usually the
first group I read in the mornings. Never thought nt would be ousted
from that position. <g>
Plus this place seems to be a lot less fun these days. There is only so
much negativity one can take. I was always a fan of records, but never
had much use for broken ones.

And while I have never met him in person,
I have, it wasn't that great <g>.
Kidding aside, his company ( Lemanix) puts on the new release dog and pony
shows for Delphi. He does alot of the demonstrations for the new products.
He does a really great job.

If those characteristics were the sole criteria for a being a CEO, you're
right, he'd be a good candidate. Too bad that I already cast my vote for
Dan.

I definitely am familiar with Luuuuuuucyyyyyy!!!

was not aired in every country. I don't know a German who has ever
heard of her.
