Fading BMP's & JPG's

Does anyone have any suggestions to how I should make a code that fades
BMP's and JPG's? The BMP's and JPG's are 24-bit.

Take a look at the "Fade" Lab Report in my Computer Lab for a BMP:

To fade a JPG, just convert to a TBitmap and then use "Fade" above.
To convert to a TBitmap, take a look at the BMPJPG Lab Report:
