I agree with you, Willem   :-)
The newsgroup comp.lang.pascal seems to me overloaded, while I am interested
only in Borland Turbo Pascal.

Just a question : does anyone know if Delphi is available in France ?
Est-ce que quelqu'un sait si on peut trouver Delphi en France ?

Pour les fran?ais qui le savent : rpondez-moi en fran?ais par
courier lectronique.
For those who does not understand French : you can answer
in English or Spanish by e-mail.
Podis constestar en espa?ol, con el correo electrnico.

Thanks, Merci, Gracias.
Bye,

CP.

Thanks

Where can I see the newsgroup description line and especially the charter
for this newsgroups?  I just discovered by accident this split to
c.l.p.borland, .mac, .misc, and .ansi-iso (or whatever it was called,
sorry, I don't remember).  Since Delphi is from Borland (yes, I did vote
on the Delphi newsgroups), I was wondering about your statement (until the
Delphi newsgroups are here, that is).

Thanks,
Kendall

The charters are available from the news.announce.newgroups archive at
ftp.uu.net.  Look in the ftp://ftp.uu.net/usenet/news.announce.newgroups/comp
directory.

The "borland" in this newsgroup's name refers to the dialect, "Borland
Pascal", not to the manufacturer.  Delphi talk belongs in the misc group until
its own groups show up.

The statement is bona fide. It corresponds to the offocial charters,
the one-line descirptions and the vote. Not my subjective view, but
facts that have now taken effect. In other word, for the time being
comp.lang.pascal.misc is a proper newsgroup for the Delphi postings,
but comp.lang.pascal.borland is not.
