How to avoid paradox index corruptions?

Hi,

I'd like to know all measures people is taking to avoid that
work-stopping trouble.

Yes, I know the TI at:
http://www.borland.com/devsupport/bde/ti/TI3342.html
but it does not solve it, so...

I'd like to know the different things you, the real people, do to deal
with that.

Thanks in advance,

What is your setup? i.e. network software, server OS, client OS, BDE
version, Delphi version, how many concurrent users, do those users do a lot
of data entry/modification, etc.

I have tried the lot.

In a commercial environment one CANNOT dictate hardware and networking and
OS and protocol ... to customers.

I know only one way: ditch it.
I am in the process of doing so at the moment.
