TBitBtn

Hi there,

I've got problems with the TBitBtn component. If a standard dialog as
MessageDlg is called the second time the bitmaps on the buttons appear with a
green square around the bitmap (just as the button-images shipped with delphi
look in a graphic program). I have this problem with Delphi 1.0 and Delphi 2.
0 under Windows95.

The delphi programmers environment itsself shows this behaviour: if I run
delphi, change the form, then click New project, press Cancel for save
changes, and repeat New project then I got the same ugly BitmapButtons.

Does anybody know somthing about this?

Thanks in advance
Daniel Berg

I have experienced the same problem, but found no answers to my question
about the same thing.
I have found some solution to the problem. Let all your bitmaps have the
same background color. When editing with Delphis (buggy) Image Editor,
right-press the color used as background. When re-loading the image in
Image Editor, the background color has changed to white, but that does not
matter. The color is what you selected.

I believe that it's a bug within either Delphi or the GFX card driver. The
problem is not experienced on all computers.

With the help from Rene i have found a solution: the background colour of
the standardbuttons has to be changed in the BUTTONS.RES using the Image
Editor
