change the odbc dsn in an alias?

Can anyone tell me how to change the odbc dsn of an alias thru code?

Are you asking how to change an ODBC DSN entry or how to change the ODBC DSN
setting of a BDE alias ?

For the first you need to call SQLConfigDataSource (see one of my previous
posts) and for the second you can just use a TDatabase instead of a
permanent BDE alias. You can modify the properties of a temporary BDE alias
with Database1.Params.Values['ODBC DSN'] := NewValue.
