I just purchased Delphi 2.0 Client/Server Suite, and could not find
INFORMIX driver.  In all advertising material from Borland stated that
they support INFORMIX database in Delphi 2.0.  Is this a fraud.

This does not exist, unfortunately, much to our dispair.  The reason is that Informix
have not release the 32bit native drivers which Delphi would have used.  Informix say
the reason for the late release is due to Microsoft finalising a specification that
Informix require to complete the drivers.

Today, I shall be evaluating a 32bit ODBC driver to Informix 7.  I'll post the details
once I have achieved a connection!

No, because Informix haven't written the 32 bit software that
Borland needs to do it.  I presume that when they do it will be
supplied to those with Client/Server.
