login as new user

I upgraded InterBase from 6.0.1 to 6.5, and add new user (name and password)
in. However, I cannot login in as new user, which I can in InterBase 6.0.1.
I could login as default user (SYSDBA, masterkey). Does InterBase 6.5 only
allow default user login?

No, but with the limited amount of information you have given
I'm not certain if anyone can help you.

I've yet to find any logon differences between the two.
