MS SQL 6.5 exclusive lock to row

Hello All!

Can someone give me an answer to this problem:

I'd like to lock one single row in a MS SQL 6.5 table for the time I'm editing
it. Someone else may still be allowed read access to this row and ofcourse read & write access to the rest of the table.
