Client - Server "How many clients?"

Hi,
i made a client - server project and i want to at anytime how many
clients are connected
to the server. How can i do that?

You did specify whether the application has to provide this info or if
the DBA needs to know the info for administration purposes.  Here are
answers to both:

DBA:
Try the database backend manager tool... it should tell you how many
users are logged on.  Another way is check the Event log of the NT
server.  A third source is the Server Control Panel... it will tell
you who is connected to shared resources.

Application:
Create a table with an integer field your application increments when
it starts, and decrements when it closes down.  The value of the field
will be the number of users currently logged on.

There would be some kind of API-call for your particular server that, if
you had sufficient authority, would probably allow you to get to that
information.
