When the created Setup-program by InstallShield installs a new file
group, it doesn't get a new filegroup.

It creates a "=shortcut= folder" to the installed directory, and not
an "file folder".

I want a group under Start menu - Programs that apperars together
with the other groups I have like Delphi and Borland Delphi. Instead
of this the new group will appear below all this groups, together with
e.g. MS-DOS prompt.

Do you understand? Please help.

Hey I got this too, how on earth do you get just a shortcut-icon in a
folder that is already there?

After hours of frustration yesterday I got it just put an icon on the
start menu, but I don't know how (helps files are useless).

You might want to talk to the manufacturer of InstallShield.  I have
heard rumors of a fix for this problem as well as an even bigger rumor
of something called Installshield Express/Pro...

My fix was YOUSEFUL.VCL.  With it you use Delphi to build your install.
A simple install should not take more than about 15 minutes to build and
test.
