Wrong Oracle Type version in SQL Explorer, WHY????

Hello there,

We've just installed Oracle 8.16 so I had to change some things
on my pc as well. Installed the Net8 software and updated the
Native borland Oracle driver to use Oracle 8 and OCI.
But now when I connect to our Oracle 8 database
the Type in SQL explorer states Oracle 7.3.2.0.0.
Howcome, or is this normal?

Thanks anyway

Hi,

SQLExplorer shows version information from Oracle dictionary.
So, it looks like you are connecting to server v7.3.2. Are you have
only single Oracle instance in your environment ?
