Not ready error

When I attempt to access the installation disk for Delphi 4, I get the
following error:

E:\ is not accessible. The device is not ready.

I tried a different CD in the drive and it worked fine. I have had this
happen once or twice before and it usually meant that the CD needed
cleaning but this time that didn't solve the problem. I can see some
smudges on the CD but they don't come off. Is it possible to get a
replacement CD so I can install the software? If so, how?

Thank you,

Anne Sainz

Re:Not ready error

Anne,
First off, try spraying some Windex or other glass cleaner on the cd and
see if that clears it up.  If that still doesn't work for you, then you can
call our order desk at (800) 311-0877 to order a replacement.

I would also recommend wiping it off before sticking it back in the
drive. :)
