A reorganization of the comp.lang.pascal.delphi.* hierarchy took place
in early 1996. If you any of the newsgroups listed are not carried on

them:

ALT GROUPS:
alt.lang.delphi
alt.comp.lang.borland-delphi
(Created with poorly formatted control messages, mass rmgrouped and
poorly propagated, but if they exist on your site you can try to use
them.)
GROUPS NOT TO USE:
alt.online-service.delphi
(Online service in the sense of Compuserve or AOL. Among other
things, they provide Internet access to people in the US and UK. They
had the name first.)
comp.lang.pascal.borland
Borland's Pascal incl. Turbo Pascal
(They have made it quite clear that they do not want to hear about
Delphi. Please respect their wishes.)

This mini-FAQ is intended to provide people with some idea of where
best to post. In my opinion, the hierarchy is in desperate need of a
"Welcome" FAQ to spell out what groups are for what and provide some
basic netiquette pointers. I don't, however, think that it would be a
good idea for me to combine maintaining such a FAQ with moderating the
announce group. Any volunteers?
