Cannot run D4 on new hard drive.

Cannot run D4 on new hard drive.

I was running D4 on my PC. (266mh 64 meg ram, 4 meg Diamond video, 3.2 gig
drive partitioned 1.2 and 2.0) I have used the old configuration for aver a
year with no problem. Recently, I up sized my hard drive from 3.2 to 13g.
The 13 gig is partitioned as one big mom'ma. Again, I had d4 loaded on the
old drive with no problem, however I cannot get it to work on the large
drive. I have installed it three times, each time the level of success has
different, none have been successful. I have had the splash screen come up
and then lock, or it reports a dll is unable to be located.

Will d4 load on a fat32 big drive? If so, is there anything I need to do
special? if so, what may that be?

I have D4 on a 12 Gig and a 13 Gig with not problems (both FAT32 obviously). If
it is freezing you probably have a video driver problem that is causing several
other problems as well. The is a list of items I regularly post concerning this
in this group. Try those solutions to see if any help.

The correct way to punctuate a sentence that starts: "Of course it is
none of my business but ~" is to place a period after the word "but".

thanks for the suggestions. As I said in my post, it was running fine
before I upgraded the hard drive. I will try the suggestions just the same.
