Can any body tell me what's the difference between Delphi 2 and 3 other than
the ActiveX controls?

The IDE is much improved.  I haven't stress-tested it yet, but the
functionality is much better.  Also, the BDE is expanded, to support
Access and Foxpro data (but I can't vouch for performance/stability).

Well, for starters, d3 is a lot less buggy!  Some of the controls have
been rewritten (ctrlgrid comes to mind) and the ability to use packages
are highlights.

Ask somebody who has to make their living about their ability to write
innovative tools, and their ability to differentiate them positively from
the older versions.

How about www.borland.com ??  Actually I haven't looked if there is anything,
but please come back, if their web site is not able to tell about the new
features and differences.
