Is it safe to use sql in dll's with Delphi 3?

I've a program that crashes when I close it,
with the following message :

  page fault in Kernel32.dll at  address 014bf:bff9a5d0

Then :

With BDE 4.0
when I close the message box this reappears immediatly, and I'm forced
to reeboot the system (win95)

With BDE 5.0
when I close the message box this doesn't reappear and the system
seems to work.

The odd thing is that  this happens only when I active an Sql in a
dll.

Seeems something related to the finalization of some dll
(perhaps idsql32 ?)

Any suggestion ?
