NT Workstation Mouse Problem

I am just starting a Pascal course, have installed it on WinNT workstation
and am having the following minor problem: after I do my first compile the
mouse cursor disappears. The mouse still functions but it is a "mystery
mouse" as I cannot see where it is on the screen. If you zip it to the top
of the page though, it will make menus drop down etc. Any known workarounds
or solutions?

what sort of mousedriver do you use? One from NT or one from
autoexec.bat? What does your program do? Something with the mouse?
