  I need to accquire an image from a camera attached to the computer. Are
there any freeware (or otherwise) components to get this job done? Thanks

Hi,

have a look at www.dosadi.com (EZTWAIN). There  is no good generic Twain
interface for Delphi - nowhere (will  come ...? I hope in some  month :-)).
The Wang  /Kodak OCX (windows95 Imaging) may be worth a try.

Also there take a look at Kodak Imaging prog that comes with win9x. The
ocx's are provided to do what you want free. Search \Windows with
img*.*
