distributing databse application using msacess

Hi gang,

I am trying to distribute a database app using MsAcess. I have chosen ADO
as the connection method. Is it possible to copy my executable and MsAcess
database on cd and run if directly of the cd in other computers without any
problems? If am open to other suggestions. Thanks.

The only problem is if your users are not using Win2k on their machines or
haven't loaded MDAC 2.5 (At Least)--if they havent upgraded to Win2k. Win2k
already loads MDAC 2.6, and all others need to run the MDAC Install, It
normally comes on your Install CD (MDAC_TYP.EXE) if not you can find it on
the Microsoft site. Just include it on your CD and if they have any
problems running your program just have them install MDAC on their machines.
I know this works with D5 and Access 2K.
