Threaded Server calling In-Proc Server

I have an automation server which calls an in-process server. If the
server is single-threaded then everything works fine. However, if the
server is threaded, it hangs on CreateCOMObject when trying to create
the in-proc server.

I have noticed several other people have reported the same problem on
this forum but I couldn't find one that had a reply!!
