Error 216 in windows 98

I got an application which runs fine under Windows 2000 and Windows NT but
when i run this app in windows 98 i get an error 216.

Anyone got an idea?

Verify the APIs that you use. Are ALL of them compatibile on Win 9x and Win
NT/2000
