[Access97] - Empty Msater-Detail is not working fine

Hello,
does anybody know why with empty Master-Detail tables, if I insert new
values (first in Master, then in Detail) I can't see the new values in
related controls (i.e. a dbedit on a lookup field added to a table), while
the same thing works fine on not empty datasets?
