Installation problem - computer freezes

Installation problem
I have just installed BCB6 Pro Student's Edn. I can correctly compile and
run a console app.
Problem: When I am in Widows Explorer and I put the cursor onto the prog.exe
file that I have made, the computer 'freezes' for about 1 minute. With
system monitor I can see that the cpu becomes 100% utilisation during this
time, dropping back to normal after. It happens every time. This does not
happen with other prog.exe files, i.e., ones I haven't made.
Can anybody help? Which BCB or other settings could cause this?
Env is WinME, 400MHz Celeron, enough room on disk, ...
Thanks in advance.
Peter.

Re:Installation problem - computer freezes

it could be your virus scanner checking it because of the new file date.
try running it again before recompiling.

Re:Installation problem - computer freezes

Hi, Peter!
Sorry, doesn't seem to make any sense if you are just hovering the
cursor over the file.
Still, I'd strongly recommend upgrading from Windows Me. ;-) It may be a
bug in the OS.
