I know that this is the VCL group but the reason I am posting here is
because after a few months of monitoring both groups. I have seen
almost zero traffic in the CLX group and the few messages there are
all questions without answers. Is anyone using CLX at all? Is CLX
doomed?

That depends from the plans of Borland with Kylix. I think people are eager
to use it but don't because Borland isn't clear about the future of Kylix.
( Just like the future of BCB is unclear ).
