Yes. I ran JVCL331CompleteJCL199-Build2551\jcl\install.bat, got the JCL
installer, it ran fine. Ran
JVCL331CompleteJCL199-Build2551\jvcl\install.bat, got the error message.

you should have dcc32ex in the mentioned location. Are you sure the
structure of the zip file was respected?

I unzipped preserving the internal directory structure and ran the JCL
installer and then the JVCL installer.
In any event I've manually installed the JVCL. Just thought you should know
there's a problem.

Thing is, you are the first one to mention a problem with "dcc32ex" not
being here, which is weird because I have it should be in the zip file.
Last time I checked, it was there.

You're right. In the .7z file there are 18 files in \jvcl\packages\bin, inc
dcc32.exe and build.exe, but I've only got 16 files in that folder on my HD.
Weird. In the .7z file those two have a Block attribute of 1 instead of 0
like all the rest. Could that be significant?

It should not have any impact, I let 7zip handle all the files the way
it wanted. Maybe there's a rule about not extracting exe files on your
system...

Try turning off your virus checking.
