Does anybody have a utility which will work with bde 5.20 to repair a
paradox index out of date error?
I have pdoxrep but when i start it, it says my tutil32.dll (5.00) requires a
5.20 idapi, any one help?? please!!!

Re:paradox pdoxrep and tutil32.dll

do a search on google for Pdxrbld.exe and download file...
do a search on googld for TUTIL32.DLL and download file...place it in the
same directory of were you install the pdxrbld.
Then just click on .exe.
I get those index of date errors occasionaly too...wonder what causes them
never have been able to figure that out.

Re:paradox pdoxrep and tutil32.dll

I have about thirty versions of the program, and every single one of them
says I need a version 5.20 of TUtil32.dll, which is the same as the bde i
have (C++ builder v6) and I have not got a version higher than 5.0.0.38,
from Borlands own site, thus NONE of the repair programs will work.
I guess I will simply have to downgrade my bde to a previous version simply
to run a repair. Me really thinks my time using paradox is up, shame nothing
else comes close to it for free multi-user db which needs {*word*81} all congif

Re:paradox pdoxrep and tutil32.dll

looks like if you are using PdxRbld you need to do something like this
Edit the EQUALS section of the PdxRbld.ini file so it looks like:
[EQUALS]
5.0.1=5.0.0
5.1.0=5.0.0
5.2.0=5.0.0
