Can't Import ActiveX after Upgrading from BCB 5.0 to BDS 20062007-07-18 07:36:24 AM cppbuilder29 Hi, I am having problems importing an ActiveX Component into Tool Palette. I read the help and it seems to me that I do not get two radio buttons. I go to "Import Component", click "Import ActiveX Control", and select it from the list on the next window. Then on the next window, which indicates "Palette Page: ActiveX", I click next. So far, so good. On the following window I get a radio button with the only option "Create Unit". On top of the window it is written "Choose to create a unit or add the created unit to an active package. After the unit is added to a package it can be installed through the Install Packages dialog." The help says that I should have "Install to Existing Package" and "Install to New Package" but I do not get these options. If I click "Finish" (with the only radio button "Create Unit") it opens the .cpp file of the ActiveX and that's where I am stuck. How can I install the ActiveX into the IDE? I never had problems with BCB 5.0. There it was strait forward. Thanks, Julian |
