Tracing Pascal source in BCB

Dear all,
I am using an ICS (Internet Component Suite) VCL to develop a mail client.
I encounter some strange behavior and want to step into the VCL Pascal
source to trace the problem. I find when in the Pascal unit the "Watch" and
"Debug - Inspect" features are not workable. Is it the limitation of BCB to
debug Pascal source? Or there are settings that can make that workable?
