When googling for information I often get a link to
experts-exchange.com. This is a pay site. Does anyone have any
experience with experts-exchange.com? Is the information there useful
or no better than that found on non-pay sites and newsgroups?

Yes I learned a lot from people there. You buy (let us say) 1000 points
and assign some of them to your questions. Experts will race to get your
points by trying to answer. The expert with the accepted answer gets
your points.
