Why wouldn't you make this simply use any TDataset, rather than tie to to
some proprietary database that I have no interest in and an open source
database that I don't use? I would want to be able to store the data in
Advantage, personally, and others may want to use Paradox, Firebird, DBISAM,
NexusDB, MSSQL, Oracle or whatever.

Has the server been tested on a win2003 web edition server over the
internet. I have tried a few other products that had either connection
problems or would close the client on temporary connection loss.
I need to build/buy a system that will not have these prolems across
continents. At places where internet connections are still on 33k modems.

Please try using a valid port number (0 - 65535).

I wasn't specifically reffering to your components. I was able to make the
RTC work using a lower PORT#.
I have had problems with even a few commercial products I have tested.

No. I do not think that there could be any problems as some users of our Accuracer Client-Server sucessfully used it on Win2003. MsgCommunicator has almost the same connection scheme.

We have tested it on modems on very bad phone lines.
