Hi
I want to develop an app that lets the suer lock in using a finger scanner.
Where can i download the API for a finger scanner? Does it differ from model
to model? or is there a standardized API?
I haven't bought a scanner yet so I don't know whether it comes with the API
library.
Any suggestions?

Each scanner will be different most manufacturers offer a developer kit
with scanner and SDK . you just need to shop around for one you like
