Has anybody else ever had the same problem?

After complete new installation of BCB3.0 and the patch (3.01) and
after a little work with BCB i can no longer open the file dialogs for
open-new-file, save-project-as and so on...
i cannot figure out to what this is related to. i run win95 (not the
b-version!)
