Hi
Can anyone tell me how\why cppbuilder 6 ide changes it regional settings all
of a sudden? I can be working away and then the shift 2 becomes @ No other
application I am running is effected. The refreqency depends, but it's
happening a lot today! I restart of the ide usually fixes the problem but
if going wrong a lot more these days.
Am running on winxp pro sp 2, borland 6 sp 4
thanks

On my keyboard, shift 2 *is* @. What are you expecting it to be?

Funny but for reasons that I prefer not to mention, I'm working with
a lap top from Germany and the shift 2 is a quote. (")

Are you sure you don't have two language settings active and you do not switch
them with Shift+Alt?

I was just pointing out that not all keyboards have the same layout.
The OP's original complaint is that the IDE seems to revert to the
English keyboard layout. He doesn't say whether he has multiple languages
loaded. AFAIK, no one has answered his question yet.

Re:IDE suddenly changes regional settings

Hi
I had English UK which was default, and English US setting installed. and
my keyboard does say " for key 2 ;-)
I've removed the English US completely from my regional setting so I will
see if it solves the problem. I wasn't switching it via the Shift+Alt key
also - strange how just bcb was effected..
thanks for the replys btw.
