Why, in BDS 2006, in C++ builder, in sync edit mode, would it assume that
words of different capitalisation are in fact the same variable? C++ is a
case sensitive language.

As most of the features in BDS, it has been created for Delphi. And
Delphi is case-insensitive.
We are doomed!

I expect that the same code that was used for this feature in Delphi
was also used for C++. Delphi is not case sensitive. Is this issue
reported in QC?

No, I haven't. A quick look through my email system was unable to produce my
login details for Borland.
