Re:new version of BCB

They are apparently working on incorporating BCB into the next version of
Delphi.
Several previews have been put on BDN so I guess it will be about 1 year
after
Delphi 2005 which is about November. They have said that this time they will
not release it unless it really is ready so it may be a bit later.
It could be very good - lets just cross out fingers and hope.

The next BCB will be part of the Delphi IDE. It is apparently being
developed, as all the talks about the project, codenamed DeXter, proves.
Have a look at BDNtv on the BDN site. You might find a few previews of
the newest C++-Builder.

Why did you move to MS and why do you want to move back?

Re:new version of BCB

BCB and VS.Net are totally different and I think dotNet is a waste of time.

Re:new version of BCB

I moved to MS because of new possibilities of IDE and new classes...it
is more user friendly...but i always developed thanks to borland tools....
but honestly, since BCB5, nothing really new was developed...BCB include
more or less ADO...
don't worry, as soon as Dexter will be on market...i will check it.
