MediaPlayer issue.

Hi Guys,
I have an application that plays WAV files when certain events take
place. I have been using the MediaPlayer component that comes with
CppBuilder 5.
Suddenly one day it stopped working, and now none of the buttons are
enabled when I start the application. I haven't touched it in months and
seems strange that it would suddenly disable itself.
I have even gone as far as starting a plain project with nothing other
than the MediaPlayer component with the same results.
Does anyone have any idea what I could have done to do this?
Alternatively, is there another "free" component I can use to take it's
place. I have found WindowsMediaPlayer to be too buggy and inconsistent
to use.
Thanks in advance for your comments,
Regards,
Garreth

Re:MediaPlayer issue.

In addition to what I wrote above regarding the MediaPlayer issue; I
sometimes get a "The MCI device you are using does not support the
specified command." error when trying to play a wav file.
Any ideas?
